Cahuita Beach is a little piece of paradise located on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. A small Caribbean beach town, Cahuita Beach is not as developed as many other Costa Rican beach towns. The Cahuita National Park is located close to town and offers visitors incredible wildlife: Iguanas, toucans, land crabs, monkeys, and the world’s only Sloth Rehabilitation Center. Leatherback sea turtles nest on Cahuita’s spectacular beaches. Along with all the incredible flora and fauna, Cahuita has a great, extremely friendly local population.
